Tips for using Foam Board
Foam board can be cut using a good sharp blade either Swann Morton or Stanley Knife.
It's very important to use a sharp blade as a blunt blade will not create a clean cut and will leave a feathered edge. Protect your work surface and improve smooth cutting by using a suitably sized cutting mat. For simple straight cuts and to protect fingers why not invest in one of our heavy duty cutting rulers
Store boxes/sheets of foam board flat to ensure they don't bow. Keep in an area where the temperature doesn't fluctuate as this can also make boards lose their shape.
